Account & personal data
Delete your Lighthouse account
Initiate deletion of your Lighthouse account and its associated personal data in the app, or send a request without the app.
Delete your account in the app
Use the Delete account option in the Lighthouse app to initiate account deletion.
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot access it, use the email request option below.
Request deletion without the app
Email contact@lighthouseinfra.com with the subject Delete my Lighthouse account.
Request account deletion by email
This button opens your email app with a draft. Send the email to start your request. If no email app opens, use the address and subject above in your usual email service.
What to include in an email request
- Send the request from your registered email where possible.
- Include the phone number or email linked to your Lighthouse account.
- State that you want to delete your account and associated personal data.
If you cannot access your registered contact details, tell us so we can help verify the request another way. Do not send your password, one-time login code, complete card details or unrelated identity documents.
Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. Sending an email starts a deletion request; it does not immediately delete the account.
What deletion covers
We will review and delete your account, profile information and associated personal data that we no longer need to retain. This includes eligible uploaded content and linked service-provider records within the scope of your request.
We will explain any limits affecting shared records or information that must be retained. After deletion, you will lose access to the deleted account and its history.
Information that may need to be kept
Limited records may be retained for legal obligations, fraud prevention, security or an active dispute. Their use is restricted to the reason for keeping them.
The current Privacy Policy, Schedule B, lists these typical retention periods:
| Record category | Published retention period |
|---|---|
| Account and verification records | Up to 7 years |
| RFQ and procurement records | Up to 10 years |
| Financial records | As required by law |
| Security logs | Up to 5 years |
| AI records | As specified in the AI Policy and the relevant feature notice |
| Enterprise records | As specified in the applicable contract |
The Terms of Service, Schedule D, also address retention and legal holds. These periods apply only to limited records with a continuing legitimate purpose; they do not mean the entire account or profile is kept by default. During your request, we will explain which records must be retained, why and for how long.
After an email request
- Our team confirms receipt and verifies that you are authorised to delete the account.
- We explain the scope of deletion, any records that must be kept and the expected completion time.
- We notify you when the request has been completed.
You can reply to the same email thread if you need help with your request.
Outstanding orders, payments and subscriptions
Account deletion does not automatically cancel an existing order, erase an outstanding payment obligation or decide a refund claim. Contact support about those matters. Eligible deletion requests can be processed even where limited transaction records need to be retained.
Store subscriptions, if applicable
If you have an active Apple or Google subscription, manage or cancel it through the store account used to purchase it. Account deletion does not automatically stop store billing. Contact Support if you need help finding the cancellation route.
