AI Policy & Content Use Notice
Understand the limits of AI assistance, protect the information you share and check outputs before using them.
Last updated: 12 October 2026
When this policy applies
This policy applies to AI-assisted features made available through Lighthouse. Availability can vary by feature and release. It should be read with the Privacy Policy, Terms of Service and the notice for the particular AI feature you choose to use.
AI assistance needs human review
AI-generated suggestions, estimates, classifications and recommendations may be incomplete or incorrect. They are planning assistance and do not replace qualified professional judgement, site inspections or required approvals.
Check dimensions, quantities, product specifications, compatibility, availability, site conditions and safety with a qualified professional before ordering materials or carrying out work. An AI output does not guarantee a price, delivery date, structural suitability or regulatory compliance.
Upload only what you are entitled to use
Use only text, photographs, drawings, plans, specifications and other files you own or have permission to use for the requested purpose. Obtain any necessary client, property-owner, photographer or other rights-holder permission.
Remove names, private addresses, contact details and confidential information that are not needed. Do not upload passwords, one-time login codes, payment credentials or unrelated identity documents.
A public URL, social-media post or ownership checkbox does not itself grant permission to download or reuse third-party content. Any import must use a permitted access method and respect the source’s terms and intellectual-property rights.
External AI providers and your choice
Sharing personal information with an external AI provider requires a clear disclosure of the provider, the information being shared and the purpose, together with the required permission. A general acceptance of the Terms or an upload-ownership acknowledgement does not replace that specific permission.
Before using a feature that sends content to an external AI service, review its notice for the provider, input data, processing purpose, storage and retention, and model-training treatment. If those details are not shown, do not submit private or confidential material; contact Support for clarification.
Permission for a particular request does not give Lighthouse unrestricted rights to republish private files or use them for unrelated purposes. You can choose not to submit information to an optional AI feature.
Retention and deletion
Retention and model-training practices depend on the relevant service, feature and applicable processing terms. Do not assume that every AI service uses the same settings, or that inputs are never stored, reviewed or used for training.
The Privacy Policy explains Lighthouse’s retention framework. To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, including relevant records held by service providers on our behalf, use the account deletion page. The team will explain any limited records that must be retained and the reason and period.
Prohibited uses
Do not use AI features for unlawful activity, fraud, impersonation, harassment, exploitation, privacy violations or infringement of another person’s rights. The Community Guidelines also apply to AI-assisted content shared on Lighthouse.
Report an AI result or privacy concern
Email contact@lighthouseinfra.com with a description, the relevant result or reference and the reason for your concern. Remove unrelated personal information from screenshots. Where the app provides a report control for the result, you may also use it.
