Community Guidelines

Share real work, respect people’s rights and help keep Lighthouse useful and trustworthy.

Last updated: 12 October 2026

Share real completed work

Only eligible professionals may publish project stories. Publish genuine completed projects and explain your contribution accurately. Credit collaborators where appropriate. Homeowners may explore projects and submit requirements.

Use only photographs, videos, drawings, logos and other material you own or are authorised to share. Obtain any necessary permission from clients, property owners, photographers and other rights holders.

Protect privacy and confidential information

Do not expose a client’s private address, personal contact details or confidential drawings without permission. Remove unnecessary personal information before publishing. A public web or social-media link does not itself give you permission to copy, download or republish its content.

Content and behaviour we do not allow

  • Unlawful material, child sexual abuse or exploitation content, sexually explicit material, threats, hateful abuse, harassment or encouragement of violence.
  • Impersonation, fabricated completed work or credentials, deceptive product claims, scams or fraud.
  • Fake or manipulated reviews, undisclosed paid endorsements, spam or misleading promotions.
  • Content that infringes intellectual property, privacy or confidentiality, or directs users to unsafe or illegal activity.

Reviews must reflect real experience

Describe your own experience accurately. Disclose any relevant business relationship or incentive, and do not include private personal information. Do not buy, sell or manipulate ratings or reviews.

Report content or block a user

Use the Report option in the Lighthouse app to report content or an account. Use the in-app Block option to block a user.

You can also email contact@lighthouseinfra.com with the relevant link or reference and your reason for the report. Include evidence needed to understand the concern and remove unrelated personal details.

Moderation and requests for review

We review reports and may seek supporting information, remove or restrict content, or suspend an account. Serious or repeated breaches may result in account removal. Where appropriate and permitted, we explain our decision.

To request a review of a moderation decision, reply to the decision notice or contact Support with the report reference and the information you would like us to consider.

Copyright and other rights complaints

Send a complaint to contact@lighthouseinfra.com. Identify the material and its location, the work or right affected, the basis of your ownership or authority, and your contact information.

Include a statement that you believe the use is unauthorised and that the information supplied is accurate. We may ask for information needed to assess the complaint and share relevant details with the uploader as permitted by law.
